File manager

A file manager that plays what it finds.

Folders, thumbnails and search — and anything you tap opens where it should, in the player or in the system preview.

Keep it in order

  • Create folders, move, copy, rename and delete — one item or a selection, with the count in front of you
  • Batch rename in one sheet: a base name, a starting number, and a preview of the result before you commit
  • Sort however suits the folder, and switch between list and grid
  • Tap the path chips at the top to walk back up the tree

See what a file is before you open it

  • Thumbnails are made in the background, and embedded cover art is pulled out of your audio
  • Documents and images open in the system preview inside the app
  • All Media puts every video and track in one list, newest first, with a filter for video or audio only
  • Share a file or send it on to another app straight from its row

Nothing disappears quietly

  • A file that has been removed elsewhere is shown dimmed and marked, never deleted for you
  • One action clears the missing entries once you have decided
  • If the file comes back, the entry heals itself

Questions

About files

Can I rename a lot of files at once?

Yes. Select them, choose rename, and set a base name and a starting number — the sheet previews the result before anything is changed.

Can I open a PDF or a photo in FoxFM?

Yes. Documents and images open in the system preview inside the app, and you can share them onward from there.

What happens to a file I deleted somewhere else?

Its row stays, dimmed and marked as missing, until you clear it — FoxFM never deletes an entry on your behalf. If the file reappears, the entry works again.
