  • Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive and iCloud Drive all appear in the Files app once their own apps are installed
  • FoxFM opens that picker, you choose, and the files are copied onto your device and indexed
  • Nothing is signed into inside FoxFM, and no cloud password is ever typed into it
  • Once a file is in, it plays offline like anything else

Archives stay put

  • ZIP and RAR files are kept in your library, listed with their own icon
  • Send one on to the Files app or any other app that opens archives
  • They can be previewed, shared and organised like any other file

How to bring in a cloud file

    Install your provider’s app and sign in there once — Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive.

    In FoxFM, open Sources and tap Files.

  3. 3

    In the picker, tap Browse and choose your provider in the sidebar.

  4. 4

    Select one or more files and confirm. They are copied into FoxFM and are yours offline.

About cloud and archives

Do I sign into Dropbox inside FoxFM?

No. You sign into the provider’s own app once, and it then appears in Apple’s Files picker — FoxFM imports from there and never asks for a cloud password.

Can FoxFM unzip an archive?

It keeps ZIP and RAR files and passes them on: open the archive with the Files app or another app that unpacks archives, then bring the contents back in if you want them in FoxFM.

Are cloud files available offline?

Once you import a file it lives on your device, so it plays with no connection at all.
